MASSAGE

PRECISION NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY

The utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body including muscles, tendons and connective tissue to balance the central nervous system.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Relieves pain and tension by gentle manipulations of the skull and vertebral in which circulatory flow of the cerebral spinal fluid is promoted and restored. This harmonizes the bones, nerves, fluids and connective tissue bringing balance and restoration.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY

A bodywork technique that involves the application of pressure on tender muscular tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body.

SWEDISH THERAPY

Involves rubbing muscular tissue together centripetally (meaning towards the heart). Swedish massage emphasizes long strokes, kneading and friction motion to encourage proper circulation. Swedish therapy promotes circulation as well as removing lactic acid and other chemical compounds in soft tissue.

DEEP TISSUE THERAPY

Similar to Swedish therapy, however deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscular tension. The focus is on the deepest layer of muscular tissue, fascia and tendons.

REIKI

Reiki means universal (Rei) life force energy (ki) and is given and received by a laying on of hands. Indirectly, the client is the one deciding how much healing they will receive and with what intention.
The Reiki practitioner is a conduit of healing light energy. Healing energy flows from the hands of the Reiki practitioner and soothingly flows into the client. The ability to heal with Reiki is passed on through initiation by a Certified Reiki Master/Teacher.

ACUPUNCTURE + CUPPING

The goal of acupuncture is to promote and restore the balance of energy, which flows throughout the body, and the benefits of acupuncture can extend to a wide variety of conditions, from emotional disorders (anxiety, depression) to digestive complaints (nausea, vomiting, irritable bowel syndrome).

During your first visit with Dave, you will discuss your your physical, mental, and emotional health goals . He will do a whole person health assessment. You can expect the visit to last 75 to 90 minutes.  Once the needles are placed, many people relax or fall asleep.

DAVE COYNE, L.Ac.

Being a fan of martial arts and Bruce Lee, I initially decided to try acupuncture for a recurring ankle injury. That first treatment got me hooked. To this day I continue to use Traditional Chinese Medicine and I continue to be amazed at how completely I am able to recover from injuries and at how quickly TCM is able to get me back on my board. The more I benefitted from and learned about how TCM works, the more I was amazed at the numerous chronic health issues it can treat.

I quickly realized that my personal experience with TCM has revealed another calling in my life. I began studying at American Institute of Alternative Medicine and earned a Master’s-level degree in Acupuncture.
